INTERIOR DESIGNER
We’re looking to hire an experienced interior designer to join The Workroom Interiors team! Our designers manage multiple projects from start to finish under the direction of our co-founder and principal designer Jennifer Tidwell. Our ideal candidate will be detail oriented with strong communication skills. He/she will be proficient in AutoCAD and be up to date with the latest finishes that are trending in the industry.
You will create, manage and implement every step of client projects to ensure that the project runs smoothly - sourcing products and materials, communicating with vendors and contractors, creating mood boards for design presentations, problem solving, and project installations. We have a very fast-paced environment and expect a high level of work from our team. We want someone who enjoys collaborating with other designers on the team and has the ability to lead projects and manage a design assistant and/or junior designer on the team.
Here's what we're looking for:

4-5 years of interior design experience leading projects to the finish line

Proficient in AutoCAD, Canva and Google Sheets

Strong project management and multi-tasking skills

Natural leader with the ability to manage others on the team

Tastemaker with the ability to style

Confidence and ability to communicate your ideas clearly

Strong knowledge of trade resources.

JUNIOR DESIGNER
We’re looking to hire a junior designer to join The Workroom team! Our junior designers are responsible for delivering interior elevations in CAD for design presentations as well as for builder accuracy. This person will work directly with our Principal Designer and Designer on multiple projects at a time and will assist in project management and installations. This person will have the ability to lead their own smaller projects as well.
Our ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD, will be detail oriented and have strong communication skills. We have a very fast-paced environment and therefore expect a high level of work from our team. We want someone who enjoys collaborating with other designers on the team.
Here's what we're looking for:

2+ years of interior design experience

Knowledge of product and key dimensions in designing a home

DESIGN ASSISTANT
We're looking to hire a Design Assistant to join the The Workroom team! We need someone that is extremely detail oriented with strong communication skills. In this position you will be responsible for operations both in the design studio and retail store. The design assistant will manage multiple projects and it is their responsibility to ensure the process runs smoothly. We have a very fast-paced environment and expect a very high-level of work from our team. You will meet with clients, talk with vendors and contractors, and collaborate with other designers on the team.
Here's what we're looking for:

Prior design studio experience required

Proficient in AutoCAD, Canva and Google Sheets

Manage client profiles and product selection in Studio Designer

Strong communication skills to consult directly with vendors and clients

Project budgeting and tracking of materials and furnishings

Source products and materials for design presentations

Pull materials from SF Design Center

Attend client and on-site meetings and take detailed notes

Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, manage ordering & scheduling lunch & learns for new product launches

The ability to style and assist in client install days

Keeping sample library in design studio up to date & organized

Hardworking with the willingness to do any task to get the job done
